Discussion Program on Cadastral Survey
Cadastral Survey Branch organized a discussion program from 5th to 9th January 2010 to review the progress of the previous fiscal year and to discuss the program of the running fiscal year 2067/068.
The inaugural session was chaired by the Director General of Survey Department, Mr. Raja Ram Chhatkuli. Chief Survey Officer Mr. Jagat Raj Paudel delivered the welcome speech in the program and Chief Survey Officer Mr. Rabindra Man Tamrakar delivered the vote of thank to the participants.
The Chief of the Survey Offices presented their proposed plan for the running fiscal year together with the problems faced in their concerning offices. The planning section, account section, administration section, legal section and mechanical section of the department presented their views and answered the queries raised during the discussion program.
The closing session was chaired by the Director General of Survey Department Mr. Raja Ram Chhatkuli. Mr. Chhatkuli stressed on the completion of surveying and mapping of village blocks. Joint Secretary of the Ministry Mr. Lal Mani Joshi addressed the function as Chief Guest. The joint secretaries Mr. Madhab Prasad Regmi and Mr. Krishna Raj B. C. also addressed the function. Chief Survey Officer Mr. Jagat Raj Paudel delivered the welcome Speech and Chief Survey Officer Mr. Ganesh Prasad Bhatta presented the outcome of the discussion program. Chief Survey Officer Mr. Umesh Joshi presented the view on behalf of the participants.
Distribution of Land Ownership Certificate
Minister of Land Reform and Management Mr. Damber Shrestha distributed land ownership certificate of village blocks of ward no. 3,4,10 & 11 of Kapilvastu Municipality amids a function on 28th Bhadra 2067. Director General of Survey Department Mr. Raja Ram Chhatkuli shed light on the placement of officials in the vacant posts at the function. Survey Officer of the Survey office Kapilvastu Mr. Nuwadatta Dhungana chaired the function .He delivered the vote of thanks and assured that the land ownership certificate of the remaining blocks will also be distributed in the near future. Distribution of Land ownership certificate
Minister of Land Reform and Management, Mr. Damber Shrestha, distributed Land ownership Certificate of village blocks of kumroj and Khairahani V.D.C. of Chitawan district admits a function on 8th March 2010. During the survey in 2026 B.S. those densely populated areas were left as village blocks. After distribution of certificate Minister Shrestha shed light on the fact that the land owners can use land for different financial purposes. Director General of Survey Department, Mr. Raja Ram Chhatkuli chaired the function. He expressed commitment that the officials of the department will follow the existing Act, Regulations and the directives of the ministry. Chief District officer of Chitawan district, Mr. Maheswor Neupane stressed the importance of Land ownership certificate in the daily life of the land owner. Branch Chief of the Cadastral Survey Branch, Mr. Jagat Raj Paudel delivered the vote of thanks. Survey officer of Survey Office Chitawan Mr. Puspa Raj Joshi delivered the welcome speech to the guests and participants of the function. Representatives of the different political parties also spoke on the function.
Secretary of Ministry of Land Reform and Management, Mr. Chhabi Raj Panta, distributed Land ownership Certificate of Banepa Municipality ward no. 6, resurveyed first time using Digital Technology admits a function on 15th October 2009. Director General of Survey Department, Mr. Rabin Kaji Sharma chaired the function. Joint Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Raja Ram Chhatkuli highlighted on the role of media to aware the General public about the digital technology. Chief District Officer of Kavre district, Mr. Netra Prasad Neupane stressed that the service delivery will be better using digital technology. Branch chief of the Cadastral Survey Branch, Mr. Jagat Raj Paudel delivered the welcome speech and stressed on the use of digital technology in Cadastral Survey work. Chief Survey officer Mr. Yadab Raj Dawadi delivered vote of thank to the guest and participants of the function. Survey officer of Banepa Survey office, Mr. Khil Raj Chauhan presented the process of digital survey works conducted in Banepa Municipality.
